Steve was diagnosed with his brain tumour on 23rd May 2009. He underwent intense Radiotherapy and then a course of Chemotherapy. Tragically he was taken from us on the 2nd July 2011. We had 2 years with Steve which gave us so little time to add loving memories to those we had already had. He was a truly remarkable person who was loved by many. He had a passion for travelling and photography and his ventures will live on with recollections and stories being told to his nieces and nephew. With the first anniversary approaching my sister and I find it very difficult and painful to write about our terrible loss and neither of us can begin to imagine the pain felt by our parents. In time I hope that all of us will find it easier to put into words what we really want to say about Steve. He will always be in our hearts and thoughts. We wanted to find a way for people to donate any funds they raise through sponsored events or donations to be paid directly to Brain Tumour UK. It was with the help of their fun raising department that we were made aware of the online Tribute Fund to raise funds in memory of a loved one. The site can be updated with photographs, music, stories and memories.
